 宠物安乐死一般就是注射过量麻醉剂（一般是<a style="color: red;">戊巴比妥</a>类）让动物呼吸抑制致死，也有少部分先注射麻醉剂然后再注射氯化钾使<a style="color: red;">心脏停搏</a>致死的。
 注:不预先使用麻醉剂，直接注射氯化钾使心脏停搏会非常痛苦，但是国内真有无良医院这么干过。

 ）
 动物安乐死的施行标准如下：
 ①最小痛苦
 ②快速失去意识
 ③最小化恐惧和应激
 ④可靠，效果不可逆
 这个指南里面同样出具了安乐死的原因，其中的医疗原因如下：
 An animal that is suffering from an acute or chronic 
 disease, illness, condition or pain that cannot be alleviated to a satisfactory <a style="color: red;">degree</a>
 , given the practical and
 financial resources available. Suffering can be defined
